PostHeaderIcon How To Be A Man

When I was a teenager I had a pretty tough time, I was covered in acne for which I was bullied constantly for, and I only had a handful of friends that were not of the so called ‘popular’ variety. I found school life very tough and became a recluse, I spent all my spare time hidden away in my room playing computer games and feeling pretty damn sorry for myself, I was lonely, frustrated and down right miserable, so what did I do about it?

Well nothing I was a teenager, I simply carried on through life and put the past behind me. I discovered later in life that this would serve me well in recognising my own faults and pitfalls, and to help develop confidence and the ability to take control of my own life, this is how I did it.

When I started my working life as a refuse collector at the age of 18, I quickly learnt that in the adult world it was a sink or swim situation in climbing the social ladder and being considered as a man. I was still very quiet and timid at this age and mixing with large burly men twice my age seemed quite daunting, but I found myself developing a sense of humour around these guys, and began to take part in the jokes and laughter, many of these men became my friends and respected me simply because I made them laugh.

Dominate

The biggest and most successful tool you will ever need to assert yourself as an upstanding and well respected man is ‘dominance’. This does not mean you need to go around beating people up and sleeping with all the women, we are humans and stuff like that should be left to the animals, you need to be more subtle than that. It is actually quite easy to dominate a situation, you just have to take control, for instance if someone in a group of friends makes a joke, you tell a better one, if someone tells about there time in the army, you tell them about your time in the SAS, you get the idea. Most people are too polite and let others speak whilst they sit and listen, this is fine but if you want to be dominant then you need to steer clear of doing this.

Body language

Another key element in asserting yourself as a man is posture, keep your back straight and stand tall, don’t slouch or hunch and refrain from looking at the ground. A good firm handshake is always a good way to show you mean business, and a big open smile indicates confidence. A good tip when entering the room at a party is to greet everyone as you walk in, just say hello, give a wink to some of the women, and make it known you have arrived by cheering or making a loud gesture, you may look a tit at first but you will dominate a room this way, and people will remember you.

Conversation

It doesn’t matter if you are at a party or a job interview conversation is key to being taken seriously and looked up to, don’t just talk about rubbish, talk about current news and events and make clear objective comments and give a strong opinion on your topics.

Learn Skills

Get your head in some books or take classes but learn some skills, I don’t mean floristry or cake decorating I mean useful practical skills like how to change a tire or do an oil change on a car, learn to rewire electrics in your house, learn about DIY, learn about hunting, learn about bricklaying, anything that is useful and practical will boost your respect meter up a hell of a lot, people that can fix or mend things are very well revered in society.

Respect women

Look after and provide for your woman, meet her from work in the rain, cook her a meal, run her a bath and get up at night when the baby cries, your wife may not show it but it is these things she really appreciates, and a man that takes care of his woman gets maximum respect and adoration by both sexes.

It all sounds very simple of course, but I learnt all this through many errors and finding stuff out for myself, I have messed women about, make some appalling conversation choices, made a fool of myself in public and have been the one that sits in the corner at a party.

Now of course I take charge of my life and what I do, as I finish this article I just want to make a short list of key things to remember and take in.

1. Be confident and dominate

2. Don’t let people tell you what to do with your life

3. Make good informative conversation

4. Look after and cherish your woman

5. Treat everyone you meet as an opportunity to explore

6. Be brave and take charge of problems you may face

7. Don’t worry about anything accept what is important to you, everything else is irrelevant

8. Live everyday like it is your last and smile at everyone you meet

A plane of Ethiopian Airlines took off from Beirut International Airport and it was crashed just after some moments. It has been reported that 14 dead bodies have been discovered after this airline crash. There were at least 90 passengers in the plane together with 45 Lebanese. Military rescue squads, including United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL), have been questing passengers across the Mediterranean Sea very efficiently. Yet there are no up to date and certain figures of casualties and injuries, also there is no confirmed cause of this airplane crash.

However, some sources have been claiming that crash was the result of terrorism. Both Jean Qahwaji, commander general of the armed forces and Elias Al-Murr, the defense Minister were also there in the press conference.

The Lebanese President Michel Suleiman said in his statement that there is a vital chance of terrorism involvement in this airline crash. He also said that the investigation officials would show the real picture of this airline crash very soon. He also expressed a great grief and harassed with the families of all the people who were in the plane when it was crashed.

Suleiman also stated that we would leave no stone unturned to find out the passengers of a crashed airbus. However, another Lebanese official expressed that there is a rare hope to find out the survivors.
